    Former US Tennis Association President to lead Tennis Clinic in Ghana

    Former President, Chairman, and CEO of america Tennis Affiliation (USTA), Katrina Adams, is ready to go to Ghana to headline a collection of tennis improvement actions.

    She will likely be accompanied by Roger Smith, a former skilled tennis participant from The Bahamas, as a part of a partnership with Africa 10 (A10).

    Adams and Smith will lead a two-day tennis clinic on the Accra Tennis Membership, starting on Saturday, June 21, for younger gamers aged 7 to 12, from 3:00 PM to six:00 PM (GMT).

    The clinic continues on Sunday, June 22, specializing in gamers aged 13 to 17, and also will embrace an engagement session with native tennis coaches.

    Along with the clinics, each will take part in a stakeholder assembly on June 21 on the Kempinski Resort, below the theme: “Legacy: What’s Subsequent for Ghana Tennis?”

    Their go to is anticipated to provide Ghanaian tennis a serious enhance, consistent with the overarching theme of the clinic: “Africa: Elevating Ghana Tennis.”

    Roger Smith represented The Bahamas on the 1992 Olympic Video games and reached a career-high ATP singles rating of World No. 96 in 1988, establishing himself as one of many Caribbean’s prime tennis gamers of his period.

    Katrina Adams, a former skilled doubles participant, gained 20 WTA doubles titles and reached the semifinals at Wimbledon in 1988.
