Ghana Digital Centres Restricted (GDCL), in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Know-how and Improvements, has efficiently hosted a one-day Tech Startup Workshop on the Accra Digital Centre.
The workshop, themed “Figuring out Challenges, Constructing Knowledge, Empowering Startups,” introduced collectively over 80 contributors, together with startup founders, ecosystem enablers, buyers, policymakers, and educational companions.
The workshop aimed to strengthen Ghana’s digital innovation ecosystem by partaking immediately with startups to grasp their challenges, accumulate real-time knowledge, and co-create focused assist methods.
In keeping with the Chief Govt Officer of GDCL, Dzifa Gunu, “Startups are usually not solely constructing companies, they’re constructing Ghana’s digital future.”

Diaspora African Discussion board (DAF) Ambassador, Erieka Bennette emphasised the necessity for assist for Ghanaian innovators, stating, “Ghanaian innovators require focused assist to unlock their full potential and drive the nation’s digital economic system ahead.”

The workshop featured dynamic periods, together with startup showcases, hands-on onboarding workout routines for the nationwide startup database, and roundtable discussions on funding, mentorship, and coverage reforms. Insights gathered will inform ongoing efforts to broaden regional innovation centres and develop a unified nationwide startup assist framework.
