    The Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared Friday, 7 March a vacation for all public faculties in recognition of the Independence Day celebrations.

    The announcement, made in the present day, types a part of measures to mark Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary.

    A press release signed by the Head of Public Affairs on the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, said that the vacation is meant to permit academics, employees, and schoolchildren to relaxation following the in depth preparations for Independence Day celebrations across the country.

    This 12 months’s 68th Independence Anniversary is currently being held at Jubilee House, that includes fascinating performances from schoolchildren and army personnel.

    President John Dramani Mahama addressed the nation on numerous nationwide points, emphasising that the day ought to function a second of reflection on previous struggles, achievements, and future challenges.
