    ‘Give positions to losers of Council of State elections’

     An 89-year-old retired Busi­ness Government, Mr Koshie Anagbo, has appealed to President John Dramani Ma­hama to provide losers, particularly outstanding chiefs within the current Council of State elections, different positions to appease them.

    He mentioned such losers, who’ve diverse experiences, and will contribute their quota to nationwide growth, could also be peeved, and consequently, redirect their experiences into unfavorable and un-nationalistic actions.

    Mr Anagbo made the attraction final Sunday at Abelenkpe, when he addressed some younger Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) activist, who known as on him to rejoice NDC’s large victory within the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

    He mentioned such losers, may for instance, be appointed to serve on boards of firms, parastatals, and different positions, in response to their particular knowl­edge, and expertise in native gover­nance.

    Mr Anagbo mentioned he’s enter­taining the worry that such chiefs may redirect their energies into unfavorable actions and collude with unlawful miners to sabotage the great insurance policies of John Dra­mani Mahama’s authorities.

    He expressed satisfaction that President Mahama has began his work by appointing younger women and men into positions of accountability, however cautioned them to not betray the belief reposed in them.

    The Retired Enterprise Exec­utive admonished the youth, conventional leaders, and political activists, to be affected person, as a result of the lean governance system (60 ministers), of John Dramani Mahama, would save loads of re­sources which could possibly be redirect­ed to create jobs for the youth.

    The chief of the youth group, who pleaded anonymity, expressed their appreciation to Mr Anagbo for his mentorship roles over time, and pledged their readiness to collaborate with the aged and faucet into their deep data for na­tional growth.
