    Govt urges public to send tributes for helicopter crash victims

    The Authorities of Ghana has referred to as on most of the people to ship messages of condolence and heartfelt tributes in honour of the eight individuals who died within the current helicopter crash on August 6, 2025.

    This was contained in a press release signed and issued by the spokesperson to the President and Minister for Authorities Communications.

    The assertion stated the Funeral Planning Committee was inviting people, establishments, and organisations to submit tributes for inclusion within the official brochure for the victims’ memorial.

    It famous that the decision comes because the nation prepares to bid farewell to the departed in a state funeral.

    It added that tributes needs to be despatched through e-mail to tributes@presidency.gov.gh by Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 12:00 midday GMT.

    The assertion defined that this gesture will assist protect the recollections and legacy of the victims whereas providing consolation to their households.

    The assertion additional introduced that the state funeral might be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, on the Black Star Sq. in Accra, beginning at 8:00 AM.

    It indicated that the ceremony will carry collectively household, associates, state officers, and most of the people in a solemn second of nationwide mourning.

    It concluded by noting that the braveness, dedication, and spirit of the victims ought to encourage all Ghanaians to work towards constructing a stronger, extra united, and affluent nation.
