    GRA exceeds revenue target in quarter one, records GH¢41bn

    The Ghana Income Authority (GRA) has surpassed its income goal within the first quarter of the yr, recording GH¢41 billion.

    The goal for quarter one was GH¢36 billion.

    Performing Commissioner-Common of the GRA, Anthony Akwasi Sarpong, says the Authority is adopting strategic measures, together with widening the tax base to incorporate the casual sector, particularly within the Ashanti area.

    In the meantime, the Authority is concentrating on to generate a minimum of GH¢220 billion in income for the nation by the top of the yr.

     Mr. Sarpong made the revelation throughout a go to to the Ashanti area’s Tax Providers Centre to pay a working go to to the workers.
