The Ghana Highway Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) has suspended the proposed 20% enhance in public transport fares, which was scheduled to take impact from Friday, August 8, 2025.
This was disclosed by the Transport Ministry after a choice was reached following a high-level assembly between the Ministry and street transport unions on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
