    Illegal Chinese miners storm Jimira Forest Reserve with over 60 excavators

    Unlawful Chinese language miners storm Jimira Forest Reserve with over 60 excavators

    Chinese language unlawful miners have stormed Jimira forest reserve in Ashanti Area.

    They’ve invaded the forest reserve with over 60 excavators and different mining machines.

    Sources near our information staff point out that, over 60 excavators have been deployed to the reserve below the Nkawie Forestry District Providers Division.

    The miners’ actions have resulted within the destruction of all plantations made thus far, inflicting injury to the ecosystem. The forestry employees, tasked with defending the reserve, are being threatened by the miners, additional exacerbating the scenario.

    The Jimira Forest Reserve is an important element of Ghana’s pure heritage, offering habitat for quite a few species and supporting the livelihoods of native communities. The destruction attributable to the Chinese language unlawful miners poses an incredible menace to biodiversity, water sources, and the well-being of indigenous individuals.

    They are saying the federal government and related authorities should take motion to halt the destruction and defend the Jimira Forest Reserve.

    “The destruction of the Jimira Forest Reserve by Chinese language unlawful miners is a reminder of the threats dealing with Ghana’s pure sources. Pressing motion is required to guard the reserve, uphold the regulation, and be sure that these accountable are held accountable,” they confused.
