    IT entrepreneurship training programme launched

    The Ghanaian-Eu­ropean Centre for Jobs, Migration and Improvement, in partnership with the Jackson Insti­tute of Know-how, has launched a transformative IT entrepreneur­ship coaching programme.

    This initiative goals to equip as­piring entrepreneurs with important abilities, data, and networking alternatives to excel within the speedy­ly evolving tech trade.

    Mr Andreas Berding, Head of the Ghanaian-European Centre for Jobs, Migration and Improvement, emphasised the significance of this initiative in addressing youth unemployment in Ghana:

    “The German Authorities and the European Union are com­mitted to supporting employment measures that create sustainable job alternatives for Ghanaian youth. This IT Entrepreneurship Coaching Programme is a testomony to our ongoing efforts to equip younger folks with the talents want­ed to thrive within the digital economic system and to foster innovation-driven employment pathways,” he ex­plained.

    The six-month coaching professional­gramme, the third iteration, will run concurrently throughout 5 loca­tions in Ghana – Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani, Takoradi, and Tamale – offering about 100 contributors with complete coaching in IT Entrepreneurship.

    Key focus areas embody concept era, enterprise mannequin devel­opment, market evaluation, prod­uct improvement, and monetary administration. The programme will even supply contributors hands-on instruments, sources, and mentorship to navigate challenges in beginning and scaling IT companies.

    Moreover, contributors can have the chance to attach with trade consultants, buyers, and potential collaborators, foster­ing a vibrant ecosystem of assist and innovation, whereas selling gender range within the tech area.

    Members will obtain practice­ing in a spread of specialized IT fields, together with cloud computing, synthetic intelligence, knowledge evaluation, Salesforce administration, internet de­velopment, knowledge science, and SAP.

    Highlighting the transformative energy of the coaching and companion­ship, Dr Daniel Abbiw Jackson, President of the Jackson Institute of Know-how, stated “At Jackson Institute of Know-how, we consider that serving to younger folks construct IT and entrepreneurial abilities is vital to driving innovation and financial development. Our partnership with GIZ and the Ghanaian-European Centre aligns with our mission to offer hands-on coaching that pre­pares people to construct maintain­ready careers.”

    Talking on the launch, Managing Director of Absa Financial institution Ghana, Dr Edward Nartey Botch­manner, stated “SMEs face vital challenges, with 70 per cent of SMEs failing inside their first 5 years. Each SME that fails is a dream dashed, jobs misplaced, and ambitions squashed.”

    He outlined Absa’s efforts to assist SMEs by reasonably priced financing, capability constructing, and customised services such because the SME Enterprise Financial institution­ing Suite.
