    KNUST Registrar’s Office launches Excellence Awards to honour staff dedication

    KNUST Registrar, Mr. Andrews Kwasi Boateng

    The Registrar’s Workplace of the Kwame Nkrumah College of Science and Expertise, Kumasi (KNUST) has launched the Registrar’s Workplace Excellence Awards Scheme, aimed toward honouring excellent contributions, dedication, and arduous work of employees inside the Workplace.

    The awards, themed “Recognizing Excellence for Larger Productiveness,” are in honour of three former KNUST registrars whose legacies proceed to form the college’s operations:

    • The Saint Oswald Gyimah-Kessie Award for Management: Recognizing his distinctive management and strategic imaginative and prescient.
    • The Sophia Quarshie-Sam Award for Service: Devoted to Mrs. Quarshie-Sam, the primary feminine registrar of KNUST and any Ghanaian college, for her selfless service and exemplary dedication.
    • The Kobby Yebo-Okrah Award for Creativity and Innovation: Honouring the late Mr. Yebo-Okrah for his artistic enter and transformative position within the administration of the college.

    Extra award classes embrace the Junior Achiever Award, Individuals’s Alternative Award, Particular Awards, Appreciation Awards, and the Registrar’s Recognition Award.

    KNUST Registrar, Mr. Andrews Kwasi Boateng, acknowledged that the awards search to recognise employees contributions, foster a tradition of excellence, and strengthen administrative buildings for the college’s development. He inspired employees to embrace the initiative and enhance service supply.

    Mrs. Sophia Quarshie-Sam applauded the initiative and urged employees to attempt for excellence. She counseled the registrar’s imaginative and prescient and thanked the administration for naming an award after her, additionally paying tribute to the late Mr. Kobby Yebo-Okrah.

    Mrs. Mary Yebo-Okrah, representing her late husband’s household, stated the awards signify the college’s appreciation for employees efforts, together with these working behind the scenes.

    KNUST Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, honoured the previous registrars’ legacies, stating, “Any human establishment that can’t recognise the inspiration laid by its heroes doesn’t should ask others to do extra.”

    She lauded the registrar’s initiative and emphasised the significance of recognition for institutional development.

    “We are going to carry the torch, maintain shining, and proceed placing the title of KNUST on the worldwide map,” she concluded.
