    MTN Ghana Pledges Continued Help for MSMEs on World MSME Day


     

    Chief Company Companies and Sustainability Officer at MTN Ghana, Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, has emphasised the significance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in driving inclusive financial development and sustainable improvement in Ghana.

    Talking on the World MSME Day in Accra, Adwoa Wiafe highlighted that regardless of contributing considerably to employment, MSMEs usually face challenges resembling restricted assets and overburdened capacities.

    Talking on the theme.”Enhancing MSMES, Connecting Entrepreneurs for Digital and Sustainable Future” she said that MTN Ghana is dedicated to empowering MSMEs by means of digital options, infrastructure, and platforms that foster innovation, scalability, and resilience.

    “The corporate has devoted 2025 to supporting SMEs, with initiatives resembling MTN Adwumapa, SME Plus, and YellowBiz geared toward enhancing productiveness, visibility, and development” she stated.

    Adwoa Wiafe additional talked about different key initiatives which incorporates supporting the combination of digital know-how into the expansion methods of at the least 70% of taking part MSMEs. Connecting over 100 MSMEs with digital enablers and monetary service suppliers.     Adwoa Wiafe pledged MTN Ghana’s dedication to partnering with entities just like the Ghana Enterprises Company to assist SME teams, stating that “when MSMEs thrive, communities flourish and nations progress.” She saluted entrepreneurs for his or her resilience, creativity, and dedication in shaping Ghana’s future.
