    Night time-time operations prolonged at Kumasi, Tamale Airports

    Aviation authorities have prolonged operational hours on the Prempeh I Worldwide Airport in Kumasi and the Tamale Worldwide Airport, a transfer anticipated to spice up home connectivity and passenger comfort.

    The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Ghana Airports Firm Restricted (GACL) stated in a joint assertion, issued at the moment, that the brand new schedule takes impact from June 1, 2025.

    Underneath the brand new preparations, Prempeh I Worldwide Airport will function from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., whereas Tamale Worldwide Airport’s operational hours will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

    Prempeh I Worldwide Airport was renamed in honour of the late Asantehene, Otumfuo Agyeman Prempeh I. The improve and rebranding are a part of broader efforts to boost regional air journey and decentralise aviation providers in the nation.
