Parliament has formally approved the nomination of John Setor Dumelo, Dr Clement Apaak, and ten different deputy minister-designates following the submission of the twelfth report of the Appointments Committee.
The report was introduced to the Home on Friday, seventh March 2025, by Deputy Majority Chief Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan. The movement was seconded by the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, and subsequently permitted by a voice vote.
Moreover, Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba was confirmed because the Minister of State-designate for Public Sector Reforms.
Following this, the thirteenth report of the committee was submitted by the Chairman, Bernard Ahiafor, and likewise seconded by the Weija MP.
