    Parliament Select Committee on Defence and Interior visit Ghana Police

    The Parliamentary Choose Committee on Defence and Inside has paid a working go to to the Ghana Police Service to have interaction with its management, obtain briefing on its operations, and assess the present challenges going through the Service.

    The go to aimed to establish methods by which the Committee may assist to boost the effectivity and operations of the police.

    The Chairman of the Committee, James Agalga recommended the Police Service for his or her laborious work and dedication and inspired the Service to proceed its efforts in combating crime and lowering felony exercise.

    He said that, to ensure that the police to be extra seen, they require extra logistical assist, significantly armored autos, pickup vehicles, and motorbikes, to assist them increase their attain and reply extra effectively to incidents.

    The Inspector-Normal of Police, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno in an in depth presentation, shared the successes achieved by the Service and outlined the present challenges it faces. He urged the Committee to collaborate with the Service to seek out lasting
    options that may improve its operations.
