The Central East Regional Police Command has arrested two males for allegedly possessing 519 compressed parcels of drugs suspected to be Indian hemp at Gomoa Nyanyano within the Central Area.
The suspects, recognized as 30-year-old Eric Nkyeke and 28-year-old Francis Klu, have been picked up on Monday, August 11, 2025, at about 7:40 a.m. by the Nyanyano District Police patrol group.
In response to a police assertion signed by the pinnacle of public affairs for the area, DSP Victor Kofi Dosoo, the 2 have been caught offloading the parcels from a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck with registration quantity GS-6849-21.



The automobile has since been impounded, and the suspects are in police custody helping with investigations.
The Central East Regional Police Command recommended the arresting officers for his or her swift motion and reiterated its dedication to combating drug-related crimes to make sure public security.
The command warned people concerned in such actions to cease or face the total rigours of the regulation if caught.
