    Sports activities Minister Kofi Adams says Ghana’s outstanding sporting achievements in 2025 are the results of intentional reforms and focused investments relatively than coincidence.

    Talking on the SWAG fiftieth Anniversary Awards, he declared: “2025 is not any accident—we engineered this success.”

    He said unequivocally that the yr’s progress throughout athletics, soccer, boxing, aquatics, hockey and racquet sports activities got here from strategic planning. “We took onerous choices, we invested intentionally, and Ghana is reaping the outcomes,” he mentioned.

    He cited the Black Stars’ World Cup qualification, the Black Queens’ resurgence, UDS’ international triumph, and improved performances throughout federations as proof of a coordinated nationwide rise.

    “Our athletes have excelled throughout disciplines, and Ghana has repositioned itself as a reputable pressure in African and international sport,” he added.

    The Minister reiterated that reforms undertaken prior to now two years have begun to indicate measurable outcomes.

    “This efficiency is the product of coverage, preparation and self-discipline—not luck,” he burdened.

    He urged stakeholders to maintain the momentum: “We should construct on this basis and resist the temptation to loosen up. Success rewards consistency.”
