Telecel Ghana has been awarded the celebrated Company Excellence Award in recognition of its management in office security on the maiden version of the Nationwide Security Awards 2025.
The telecommunications big was chosen after a rigorous nationwide analysis course of, which measured security efficiency, innovation, and security tradition within the office and host neighborhood.
It was organised by the Ghana Nationwide Fireplace Service (GNFS) beneath the theme ‘Recognising Excellence, Inspiring a Tradition of Security’ at their headquarters in Accra.
The Nationwide Security Awards introduced collectively prime security leaders, company executives, and authorities dignitaries, together with the Minister of the Inside, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, and the Appearing Chief Fireplace Officer (CFO) of GNFS, Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong.
The GNFS Security Directorate, in its quotation, lauded the telco for setting a nationwide benchmark in office and neighborhood security.

In her deal with, Appearing CFO Ntow Sarpong acknowledged that the GNFS has issued over 9,000 fireplace permits, carried out roughly 32,000 fireplace security audits and inspections, delivered greater than 33,000 public training campaigns, and helped save over GH¢354 million value of property.
Though the GNFS recorded a slight enhance of 0.53 per cent in fireplace incidents in 2025 alone, CFO Ntow Sarpong stated the service plans to accentuate public training, implement security legal guidelines and introduce a fireplace security syllabus within the primary colleges to minimise the incidence of fires.
