    A former Chief Government of AngloGold Ashanti, Sir Sam Jonah, has urged the youth in Africa to suppose international and prioritize sustainability.

    Addressing college students, of the Gold Coast College on the Gold Coast College Management Dialog, Sir Jonah emphasised the necessity for African leaders to be aware of happenings all over the world and look past their consolation environments.

    He burdened the necessity for leaders to uphold excessive moral and company governance requirements.

    “Be minded that the world does not simply want extra leaders, certainly, it wants leaders who’re prepared to suppose globally, ethically and prioritize sustainability. You’re way more than future executives. You’re the leaders of tomorrow.”

    “You’re the new visionaries and architectures of recent paradigms beginning in the present day. The Honor lies on you to make management on our continent moral, purposeful, provident and responsive. This new management should firstly treasure integrity. It should worth competence over nepotism, meritocracy and inclusion of agreed and partisan exclusion.”

    He mentioned that for the African continent to achieve prominence, there would be the want for leaders to eschew corrupt practices and adopting helpful know-how which is able to assist the equitable progress of the continent.

    “This new management should reject corruption and eschew vanity in direction of the residents. It should prioritize the welfare of humanity over know-how.”

    Sir Jonah continued that “know-how, in fact, should serve humanity, not the opposite method round, confronted with a alternative of using new know-how so as to add hundreds of thousands in money to the pockets of some traders, versus displacing hundreds of thousands of residents from their livelihoods and shortly their houses.”

    The Gold Coast Management Dialog is a Premier Management Improvement Sequence organized by the College of Gold Coast. The occasion seeks to bridge the hole between principle and apply by means of interactive classes led by distinguished international leaders.

    The Management Dialog was on the theme, ‘Pioneering Management: Navigating Ghana’s Financial and Enterprise Transformation.
