Convenor of the One Ghana Motion, Senyo Hosi, has described the present rice glut within the nation as a mirrored image of coverage failure.
Talking on JoyNews’ Newsfile on Saturday, November 8, Mr Hosi lamented that “This isn’t a glass downside, clearly it’s a coverage failure, and I do not suppose the federal government takes rice severely, they only pay lip service to it.”
He additionally argued that it’s a value of native rice manufacturing, “It’s a quite simple matter, it’s a value matter.” including that whereas the price of native rice continues to rise, imported rice is being introduced into the nation at cheaper costs.
