    UMB names Daphne Oppong as Head of Human Capital to drive people-centred transformation

    As a part of its ongoing model refresh and people-first transformation agenda, Common Service provider Financial institution (UMB) has appointed Mrs Daphne Oppong as Head of Human Capital.

    The appointment varieties a strategic pillar in UMB’s broader management realignment and model repositioning journey, which seeks to redefine the financial institution’s influence throughout Ghana’s monetary providers sector.

    Mrs Oppong, a seasoned Human Assets govt with huge expertise in each banking and manufacturing throughout rising markets, brings to the position a Pan-African orientation and deep experience in aligning individuals methods with institutional transformation. Her skilled strengths span Organisational Design and Execution, Tradition and Change Administration, Coverage Growth, and Expertise Administration.

    Dr Philip Oti-Mensah, Chief Government Officer of UMB, mentioned the appointment displays the financial institution’s renewed deal with cultivating a values-driven inner tradition. “Welcoming Daphne to our management group marks a pivotal step ahead in our dedication to constructing a tradition that displays the values of the communities we serve,” he said. “As we reimagine our model, our individuals stay on the centre of all the things we do.     Daphne holds an Government MBA in Human Useful resource Administration from the Paris Graduate Faculty of Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce diploma from the College of Cape Coast, and a Stanford LEAD Skilled Certificates from Stanford College’s Graduate Faculty of Enterprise. She can be a Licensed Senior Skilled in Human Assets (SPHRI) from the Human Capital Institute.
    In her new position, she is going to spearhead HR transformation initiatives aimed toward enhancing worker engagement and unlocking the complete potential of UMB’s workforce.
