    We can’t continue depending on foreign aid – Bernard Mornah on USAID cuts

    The rapid previous flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, has praised U.S. President Donald Trump for his decision to halt USAID funding to African countries.

    Talking on the Danjuar Competition in Kpikpira, the place he addressed the chiefs and other people of the Bimoba group from Ghana and Togo, Mornah argued that whereas the funding cuts could appear to be a setback, they function a wake-up name for Africa to attain true independence and financial self-sufficiency.

    His feedback come amid rising debates over Africa’s financial dependence on international help and the long-term impression of Trump’s decision to cut aid to the continent.
