    We don’t handle Black Stars budget – GFA tells President Mahama

    The Ghana Soccer Affiliation (GFA) has responded to President John Mahama’s remarks relating to the monetary transparency of the Black Stars, stating that the affiliation doesn’t deal with the nationwide workforce’s finances.

    Throughout his first State of the Nation Handle (SONA), President Mahama emphasised the necessity for larger transparency in sports activities administration, notably within the monetary administration of nationwide groups. He referred to as for the Black Stars’ finances to be made public, because it entails taxpayers’ cash.

    In an official assertion, the GFA clarified that each one budgeting and expenditure associated to the nationwide groups are completely managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports activities.

    “We additionally endorse His Excellency’s name for transparency within the budgeting and expenditure associated to the Black Stars and, by extension, all nationwide groups,” the assertion learn.
