The five-year initiative, spearheaded by Plan Worldwide Ghana and funded by International Afgala’s Canada, was applied within the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, and Northern areas.
It aimed to empower girls economically and enhance their wellbeing via a comprehensive suite of gender-responsive enterprise companies in 5 districts throughout the focused areas.
The venture focused underemployed girls aged 19 to 54 years in rural and suburban areas.
Mr Tchona emphasised the critical function of girls’s empowerment in reaching sustainable development objectives and fostering financial development.
