The Youth Employment Company (YEA), in partnership with the Nationwide Insurance coverage Fee (NIC), has secured 500 coaching slots to arrange younger Ghanaians as licensed insurance coverage brokers.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to formalise the partnership, with the Chief Govt Officer of YEA, Malik Basintale, signing on behalf of the company, and Dr. Abiba Zakaria, Commissioner of Insurance coverage, signing on behalf of the NIC.

The first purpose of the initiative is to offer abilities and employment alternatives for the youth, whereas additionally supporting the enforcement of obligatory insurance coverage insurance policies throughout the nation.

The coaching will likely be performed by the Ghana Insurance coverage Faculty.

The programme is predicted to strengthen Ghana’s financial resilience by growing the variety of skilled insurance coverage professionals and enhancing public consciousness in regards to the significance of insurance coverage.
