The Central regional chairman of the Peace Council and the Bishop of the Cape Price diocese of the Methodist church Very Reverend Richardson Aboagye Andam has showered praises on the rapid previous Inspector-General of Police Dr George Akuffo Dampare noting “your good works gained’t be in useless”.

In a sermon at a funeral on the Ebenezer Methodist church in Mankesim attended by the previous IGP, Reverend Aboagye Andam stated the “distinctive” efficiency of the previous Inspector-Common Police is appreciated by majority of Ghanaians.
It’s shocking to me that my sermon someway has one thing to do with the lifetime of our former IGP though I didn’t know of his coming in the present day. I need to guarantee you, Dr. Dampare, that your works won’t ever be in useless. Let me repeat your good works within the lord as witnessed by majority of Ghanaians won’t ever be in useless.

What you’ve got carried out for this nation will dwell with us without end. Might God bless you in your knowledge in not permitting law enforcement officials to take weapons to the polling stations, it was God who spoke to you. You saved Ghana, God bless you. Your reward will probably be big each on earth and heaven. Over time many others will respect you extra.
Dr. Dampare, 55, was replaced as IGP by President John Mahama on Friday.
