President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has appointed media character and artistic entrepreneur Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD) as Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs.

Kofi Okyere-Darko is the CEO of the clothes line Nineteen 57 and the founding father of the annual vogue and music occasion Rhythms on Da Runway.
Formerly known as Richard Aidoo, KOD was born on 13 January 1978 in Winneba, a city within the Central Area of Ghana. His father, James Aidoo, was a retired deputy director of the Ghana Prisons Service, whereas his mom, Margaret Aidoo, was one of many founding members of the thirty first December Ladies’s Motion.
