    China-Ghana Mining Association inaugurated to champion responsible mining

     As a part of efforts to advertise accountable and sustainable min­ing practices within the nation, the federal government and a few main Chinese language mining enterprises have formally inaugurated the Asso­ciation of China-Ghana Mining (ACGM).

    The affiliation, made up of 10 Chinese language mining corporations, marked a milestone in selling Sino-Ghanaian collaboration within the extractive sector.

    The ACGM brings collectively main Chinese language mining enterpris­es working in Ghana, together with Cardinal Namdini Mining Ltd (a subsidiary of Shandong Gold Group), Golden Star (Wassa) Ltd (a subsidiary of Chifeng Gold Group), and different established corporations.

    Delivering the keynote advert­costume on behalf of the Presi­dent, John Dramani Mahama, the Minister of Lands and Pure Assets, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, reaffirmed the federal government’s dedication to working carefully with ACGM to reinforce and streamline Chinese language funding in Ghana’s mining sector.

    “By structured co­operation, we will unlock new alternatives whereas making certain that mining actions align with Gha­na’s broader developmental and sustainability targets,” he said.

    He harassed the necessity to lever­age China’s experience in beneath­floor mining, low-grade ore growth, and mining-related technical coaching to spice up effi­ciency and international competitiveness in Ghana’s mining trade.

    In his remarks, the Chairman of ACGM, Mr Tang Zhenjiang, outlined the Affiliation’s imaginative and prescient to maneuver past revenue and function a catalyst for constructive transfor­mation in Ghana’s mining sector.

    “By this Affiliation, we are going to unify trade consensus, combine assets, uphold our social duties, and profit group growth,” he emphasised.

    “Collectively, we are going to write a brand new chapter in China-Ghana collabo­ration and additional strengthen the enduring friendship between our nations,” he added.

    Mr Tang Zhenjiang reaffirmed ACGM’s help for nationwide de­velopment programmes, together with the Youth in Mining Initiative

     led by the Ministry of Lands and Pure Assets and the Min­istry of Youth Growth and Empowerment.

    Furthermore, he mentioned the he inau­guration of ACGM underscored the deepening diplomatic and financial ties between Ghana and China and set the stage for a brand new period of accountable, inclusive, and mutually helpful cooperation within the mining sector.

    The Chinese language Ambassador to Ghana, Tong Defa, recommended the formation of the Affiliation, describing it as a bridge for mutu­ally helpful cooperation and an vital platform for dialogue between governments, companies, and native communities.

    “I urge the Affiliation to assist Chinese language enterprises higher combine into the native market, en­hance the standard of collaboration, and be certain that our cooperation yields win-win outcomes,” the Ambassador indicated.
