    FIFA bans Accra Hearts of Oak over failure to pay Rene Hiddink

    World soccer governing physique, FIFA, has positioned a switch ban on Accra Hearts of Oak for failing to settle their monetary obligations to Dutch coach Rene Hiddink.

    In a letter dated August 21, 2025, FIFA stated the membership had not complied with a choice that required them to pay the coach.

    In line with FIFA, the ban will stop Hearts of Oak from registering new gamers each in Ghana and internationally.

    The restriction will stay till the debt is cleared and will final for as much as three full registration durations.

    The Ghana Soccer Affiliation (GFA) has additionally been instructed to implement the ban on the nationwide stage.

    FIFA’s disciplinary committee famous that the sanction was vital after the membership failed to satisfy its monetary duty.
