    Five aspirants file nominations for NPP presidential primary

    The New Patriotic Social gathering (NPP) has introduced that 5 aspirants have efficiently filed their nominations to contest within the occasion’s upcoming presidential main.

    In a press release launched on Thursday, August 28, 2025, the Presidential Elections Committee mentioned the aspirants embrace former NPP Normal Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Minister of Meals and Agriculture, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Minister of Schooling Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

    The Committee recalled that nominations had been formally opened on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, by the Normal Secretary on behalf of the Nationwide Council for occasion members excited by vying for the flagbearer place.

    It assured occasion members and the general public that the method can be performed in a clear, credible, and honest method, in step with the occasion’s structure and laws.

    The NPP presidential main is scheduled to happen on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
