President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr Shafic Suleman because the Performing Govt Secretary of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC). The choice is in accordance with Part 33 (1) of the Public Utilities Regulatory Fee Act, 1997 (Act 538).
