    Fidelity Bank Ghana donates GH¢500,000 to support children of helicopter crash victims

    Constancy Financial institution Ghana has introduced a contribution of GH¢500,000 to the federal government fund established to help the households of the eight distinguished Ghanaians who tragically misplaced their lives in a helicopter crash on August 6, 2025.

    The donation underscores Constancy Financial institution’s deep dedication to nationwide solidarity and compassion throughout moments of collective grief.

    The fund, not too long ago introduced by President John Mahama is devoted to securing the longer term and welfare of the kids of the deceased.

    On Friday, August 22, a delegation from Constancy Financial institution, led by Kwabena Boateng, Deputy Managing Director, Wholesale Banking, John-Paul Taabavi, Ag. Divisional Director for Company and Institutional Banking, Adeline Aryee, Director for Monetary Establishments Group, amongst others, paid a courtesy go to to the Chief of Employees, Julius Debrah, on the Jubilee Home to current the cheque.

    Talking through the presentation, Mr. Boateng expressed the Financial institution’s heartfelt condolences and emphasised the significance of unity in instances of nationwide tragedy: “It is a second that requires nationwide unity and help for each other,” he mentioned.

    “These have been males of honour and repair, and their sacrifice deserves tangible help for the household they’ve left behind.

    “As a Ghanaian financial institution, it’s of utmost significance that we play a big position in supporting these households. We hope this contribution will assist safe the way forward for their youngsters and supply some consolation throughout this extremely tough time.”

    In response, the Chief of Employees, Julius Debrah, welcomed the gesture and prolonged the federal government’s appreciation to Constancy Financial institution for the beneficiant donation.

    He assured the delegation that the funds can be directed to the kids of the fallen heroes to make sure their well-being and training.

    He thanked Constancy Financial institution’s administration and board for his or her swift and beneficiant help, highlighting the financial institution’s position in rallying nationwide help within the wake of such a tragedy.

    Constancy Financial institution’s intervention highlights the crucial position of company establishments in nation-building, particularly throughout moments of adversity.

    The Financial institution stays dedicated to initiatives that strengthen communities and foster resilience throughout Ghana.
