    KMA approves President’s nominee

     The Kumasi Metropolitan Meeting (KMA) has given Mr Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi the nod because the Chief Govt after securing 55 out of 56 votes in a an election held in Kumasi on Thursday.

    The event adopted his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama, who spotlight­ed his management and public ser­vice report, significantly his tenure as the previous Municipal Chief Govt (MCE) for Obuasi.

    Throughout his time in Obuasi, he was credited with championing infrastructural improvement, streamlining native governance, and fostering group have interaction­ment.

    The brand new Chief Govt has promised transformative management aimed toward revitalising Kumasi’s central enterprise district, addressing city congestion, and restoring the Backyard Metropolis’s historic vibrancy.

    He has assured to place in efforts to modernise the town’s infrastruc­ture, enhancing sanitation, and fostering a conducive environ­ment for enterprise and tourism.

    Meeting members praised his hands-on expertise, pragmatic management fashion, and skill to work with each political figures and conventional rulers.

    “That is the management Kumasi wants,” remarked by one assem­bly member. “He bridges the hole between trendy governance and our cherished conventional values,” he added.

    Mr Boadi is anticipated to be formally sworn in subsequent week, after which he would unveil his strategic agenda for Kumasi.

    As Kumasi prepares for this new period, all eyes can be on the Chief Govt to ship on his guarantees and information the Kumasi metropolis in direction of a brighter, and extra affluent future.
